Strange. Gerbil's comment was up before mine, yet the site displays it as after mine (post from the FUTURE!).

Australia and Red Sox Nation are each entirely peopled with criminals, and criminals are used to having people not trust them, as you are not trusted by me, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you.

You'd like to think that, wouldn't you? "You've beaten my Giambi, which means you're exceptionally strong, so you could've put the poison in your own goblet, trusting on your strength to save you, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. But, you've also bested my Rivera, which means you must have studied, and in studying you must have learned that man is mortal, so you would have put the poison as far from yourself as possible, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me."

Lockland: I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read yours. I would've snarfed.
I just love the Princess Bride.

Shut you mouth Yankees Haters. and bashers. Jeter's deserved The Mvp this year. He's the Mvp. Jeter's has been consistent all season long with Injuries The Yankees have all season long with Matsui and Sheff. Arod's continue to struggles at the plate and not able to hit in the clutch. Robinson Cano was out two months with Hamstring Injuries . Abreu was july 31 trade deadline acquisition.
Morneau who should win, and he''s not even the Mvp of His team..

What is with these cut & paste jobs? I've seen those posts pop up in various threads... did somebody write a "YankeeFanBot" to afflict us?

...you make a compelling case for who wins the "homegrown" title amir, but alas, on this site, when you make a good point and win your argument, you are ignored...don't expect a reaction, just enjoy your victory...but then again, who the hell cares how many homegrowners, or how much money gets spent anyway?...they sound like excuses for losing to me...

dc, "Amir" has posted this under several different names in several different places throughout the Internet, including at least twice on YFSF. As you can see, he posts it wherever he can, regardless of the conversation that is actually going on. Ignoring him is the only sensible thing to do and has nothing to do with the merit (or lack thereof) of his inexplicably phrased arguments.

...paul, ok...sorry if i encouraged him...he does appear to have a loose screw or 2, based on some of his other posts...he actually makes me look good...

Yeah, yeah, how many civil wars have the Red Sox won?
The Yankees, on the other hand, are 1-0.

You might as well as count the Revolutionary War =P
