It sounds like CHB asked the question, doesn't it?

It does seem strangely well versed - maybe some hidden way for Schill to put his frustration on the issue out there...
And, 99% of that stuff is so unreadable that I can't imagine one of them asking him to do or say something that may cause him any problem. That group of homers are looking out for him like no others!

And by that I mean maybe he wrote the question himself.

Haha, that would be amazing if it came out that Schilling said one of his fellow pitchers 'looked like crap'. That's why I don't think even Schilling would write something like that.

If anyones going to say another pitcher looks like crap, it's him. Remember when he made the "I'm not Gill Meche" comment earlier, you know, before Meche showed him how the opener is supposed to look.

I have no idea what you're talking about. The only pitcher Curt has insulted is himself.

addendum: at least, on his blog.

Brad doing my work for me! I like!

I'm not sure why Curt chose to respond to that question.
But the people who ask are idiots (like that should be a surprise) if they expect to get a straight answer.

have no idea what you're talking about. The only pitcher Curt has insulted is himself.

Kazz, during the initial contract negotiations with the Red Sox this spring, Schilling made a back handed comment towards Gil Meche. It was something like "in a market where Gil Meche gets eleven million a year, it's a mistake letting ME hit the open market"...of course that's not the comment exactly, but it is close.
I'm just tired of all the talk, and now that I've gotten glimpse of his "following", and by that I mean cult, I just can't see myself being a part of his love-fest any longer. Of course I enjoy the day he pitches, and I'm always rooting for him, but his desire to be "different" and carry on with his deciples the way he does is too much for me to stomach. Ever. No matter who it is.
He's a ball player, not the Pope; I'm just tired of him acting like I give a shit what he was thinking when he gave up a HR or a game even double; my concern is I care that he doesn't do it again or that he learns from his mistakes. I could really care less at this point what Curt Schilling has to say- just pitch and win games...

I logged in and commented a couple of times the first week. I haven't been back too often.
Brad is right.
Who cares?

I'm not a fan of most of those who comment on Schill's blog...but Brad, in the interest of fairness...Schilling never had a bad word to say about Meche. He was asked, "Would you compare yourself to Gil Meche to make the point that you deserve significantly more than $13MM?" He answered, in far more words then I care to write, "No, never. I have an idea of my own market value and I shoot for that; some players may use others as a benchmark, but I don't."

"I'm just tired of him acting like I give a shit what he was thinking when he gave up a HR or a game even double"

then don't go to his blog.

You shouldn't treat it like it's anything other than his own personal LiveJournal. i mean, random people post about how they felt about taking their dogs to the groomers, does that piss you off too?
