So the first game was ugly. A poor start from Schilling (who has yet to post the breakdown on his blog), a great start from the much-maligned Gil Meche. Some hideous baserunning.
On the other hand, I figure the Red Sox have gotten it out of their system just in time for my trip tomorrow to Kansas City. 161-1 isn't too much to ask for, right? The wife and I will likely be in attendance Wednesday night and we'll certainly be there for Matsuzaka's debut Thursday. Also arriving just in time for my trip (which includes camping out for three nights) -- 30-degree weather.
I'll return sometime Saturday with pictures and maybe even a video or two if I can figure out both the camera and YouTube (which is asking for a lot).
