Was it Kurogane? Or did Jinyamoto betray our hero's trust? Elohir, that devilish alchemist? Or was it Danny?

One of these avatars is guilty of violence committed upon Curt.  We know the perpetrator is from the Horde. We know the crime occurred within Kalimdor. We know that it happened about a fortnight ago. That leaves us with only one question. Who?

Heads up to the SF writers here...

I realize this is some serious minutia, but this is the season of minutia and I found this interesting, but also realized it speaks to a larger Red Sox issue.

The Red Sox are in the process of trying to sign Hayato Doue, Japanese Independent League catcher.

Very little chance that this kid ever makes it to the MLB level, but I see it as a sign that the front office is starting to aggressively and creatively think about life after Tek. There is a real black hole in catching talent pretty much at every level for most ball clubs, great catchers seem to be a dying breed.

There's not much out there on Hayato, but one interesting tidbit, he can throw the ball 130 meters, or 426.5 feet! People aren't going to run on this guy, not for fear of getting out, but simply not wanting to get killed if he misses his mark.

Might be worth a post and some discussion, there is a pretty good thread on him over at SOSH if you want to dig up some more info.

They must think Hayato has SOME chance at making the Majors. I mean, that's the reason you ever sign someone, right? Unless they have some sort of big plan to stock the minors with Japanese pitchers, and they want to have a trusted compatriot down there catching them. Hmm, wait a sec...
