Advance Scouting: Yanks-Rays Gamer VIII

Intrepid author Nick-YF is doing some homework, checking out senior circuit prospects as he heads to Shea tonight to ingest the Nats/Mets game. Or maybe he just wants to watch a winning New York baseball team in action. Traitor. In the mean time, the Yankees try to crawl back to .500 as they face the Rays at the Trop. Chien-Ming Wang goes for the Yankees, Edwin Jackson for the Sun Fish.

Lineups to follow, comment away.

Damon DH
Jeter SS
Abreu RF
Matsui LF
Giambi 1B
Cabrera CF
Cano 2B
Gonzalez 3B
Molina C
Wang RHP

Come on Wanger!!!!

I am convinced that the Yankees are the most boring team in the major leagues.

Offensively we are just dead. Duncan goes down looking with Melky on 3rd.

This team cannot hit. Sigh.

I'm so sick of slow starts!

Wang definitely deserves a better fate.

No pressure Alex!

John, I hope it's only a slow start..

Though it's hard to lose Posada + ARod..

MATSUI!

GODDDDDZILLLLAAAAA!!

Gets Wang off the hook, if nothing else.

We get free baseball.

Wow.. fun inning to watch. Mo.. sheesh.

That fucking sucked.

And Mo is no longer perfect.

Indeed.

I want to yell but what's the point.

Giambi, why not dive, hmm?

I can't watch this team anymore...I have more important things to do then watch a $200 million team that just doesn't care. See you guys in mid-June when we are 10 games under .500 and start playing. Oh, and we will make the playoffs still!

Well, at least we lost to a #1 team.. haha.. somehow the Rays now atop the division.

That was the beer talking last night...I watch/will watch every damn game unfortunately. It's like a sick obsession!
