Terrible story she should be locked up and the key thrown away. Reminds me of the earlier this year where someone got put into the hospital for wearing a yankees hat into a boston bar. These events are precipitated by sick people and I find it a bit misguided for the press to blame it on the rivalry.

I urge people here to avoid using this story to make a point on how bad Yankee fans can be or what have you as it really does happen on both sides and is hardly representative of the any team's fan base as a whole.

this is neither a red sox fan or a yankee fan story, it only deals with ignorance and lack of respect for life. very very sad.

It's a horrible story and in no way meant to characterize any one group of fans, I want to make that clear. But it was, as krueg says, a dig, I can't disavow that.

YFSF rivalry or allegations about one's mother/girlfriend/ethnicity/orientation, all the same thing, mighty stupid reasons to ruin other lives and spend most of the rest of your own incarcerated. Sad.
