Joe Is The Volcano

Too bad there's no audio.

The best part is seeing the ump say "Get the f*ck out of here"

Horrible call, btw. If he had called it immediately it would be one thing, but waiting several seconds and THEN calling it is just downright silly.

1. He Comes Out of Dugout
2. He Yells and Curses
3. He Gets Ejected From Game
4. The Yankees Win

I can live with that.

I hate when things like this are obviously planned. He's had more than ample opportunity to, on worse calls than this one, to act like this. He's doing this for the sake of doing it. A lot of heat on Willie Randolph for not doing it, and Joe decides to jump the curb and do something for the fans before the cries for his head, like Mr. Randolph's, begin to surface.
Smart on his part, but clearly well-thought out.

I dont think this was clearly thought out at all. There was a terrible call in the bottom of the 9th inning. Joe was pissed and rightfully so. If there had been worse calls as you claim and it was thought out he would have done it then.

That was one of the coolest things I have seen out of the Yankees in quite awhile...major propers to Joe!!!!

Suspended for a game and fined an undisclosed amount because he kicked dirt at the umpire.

'Yankee' Bob's ridiculous Yankee suspensions are almost getting comical at this point. What a sad man.

> because he kicked dirt at the umpire.

Too bad managers can't appeal. I heard Joe say he wasn't trying to kick dirt _at_ him, he was just trying to kick inside. You know.. brushback dirt.
