We Have a Problem Huston

According to MLB Fleece Factor the Oakland A's could be looking to move some of the players in their bullpen if they start to fall out of the American League West race.  With Joba moving to the rotation the man Cashman should inquire about is Huston Street.  Now Billy Beane is not going to just give Street away, but it's definitely worth an inquiring about.  According to MLB Fleece Factor "Street is under team control through 2010."  Street currently makes just $3.3 million dollars per season, which is a bargain in the current market.  The only real issue with Street is his ability to stay healthy, but at 24 if the price is right it's worth the risk.  Street is the perfect player to plug right into the "Joba Role."  So far this season Street has posted a lower WHIP than Joba, lower BB/9 and a nearly identical K/9 rate.  Street can also provide the Yankees a proven insurance plan for Mariano.  So here's to hoping the Angels start to pull away!
