Tough Series Ahead: Sox-Phils Gamer I

Not looking forward to facing the Philadelphia Phillies, who have simply a killer offense. And already, they've tattooed Bartolo Colon twice in the first and have a 3-0 lead. This is one of those possible "World Series previews" we read about when two first-place teams that are playing well meet each other. Sure would be nice to take this series, but it ain't going to be easy.

I am so sick of interleague play in general. I hate the gimmick of it, the imbalance of it. I wish it would stop. It never will, of course.

It's really a dreadful thing to me, I actually am not interested in the games in the slightest other than the result, which I will find out later on tonight since I won't be watching this game. I probably won't watch tomorrow or Wednesday's either, I just hate this stuff.

of the 5 sox hits casey and lugo have 4 of them. both times casey and lugo get on only to have bartolo strike out. i would rather get microdermabrashion treatments with battery acid than follow an NL team.

dusty and drew go back to back to put the sox within 2. 4-2. dusty's was to left while drews was to center.

nothing about the game of baseball gets me as excited as a double switch. whenever i buy a ticket to a ballgame the first thought in my mind is "what will the manager do tonite?". watching ortiz hit is totally overrated. plus, pitchers wearing warm up jackets on the basepaths is how the game was meant to be played.

Timlin should go now: we're almost halfway through the season and he's sucking hard. At any rate, he should not be pitching anytime the opponent is within five runs (in either direction).
