I can't even imagine just tipping up a bottle of Jack. I wouldn't make it that far for sure.

That's our boy!!! I'm torn on the guy...I really like his personality and ability obviously, but he's done so little since putting on the pinstripes??? Does he stay or does he go? Will he accept less to stay? Do they even want him? I guess let him go and move on...

Yahoo is reporting a rumor for Jason Bay to Tampa. That's NOT good news if that happens.

That's a ridiculous rumor. Tampa's scouting Jason Bay. Whoop-dee-doo. They might as well run a headline: "Tampa Now Competent Ballclub, Scouting All Potentially Available Players"

Bay is also rumored to be going to the Yankees. Tim K. says that they will trade Wilson (possibly Sox), Bay, Marte and Nady. So much speculation right now. Who really knows.

Jason Bay would be a great acquisition - for either team. The price would be lower than Holliday and there's a bit less inherent risk. Now it depends on that price. If they can do it without Hughes, everyone else should be on the table.
On Holliday, those minor league numbers really scare me. His SLG never topped .450 in his only four full seasons - even as a 23 yo at AA.
