Hangover: Royals-Yanks Gamer IX

Rough night for the Yankees and their fans -- one f those one-run losses that sticks with you, even after you sleep in and realize there's a game going on early this afternoon. Somehow, the Royals now have a 5-3 series lead on the Yanks, so the Bronx Bombers turn to Sidney Ponson to at least make things respectable. He goes against Zack Grienke. It's scoreless heading into the second.

At this point I think I've counted the Yankees out, Devine. I know anything can happen (especially with Tampa Bay losing 3 crucial players in the last 48 hours) but I just don't see it.

Fantastic outing by Ponson; I don't know how he does it. His groundout to flyout ratio was only 9-8 today.
