Feinsand: Pettitte could miss next start. "According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Pettitte has been experiencing stiffness in his left arm".
Sigh.

What's one of the F? Ya. ARod needs to pitch to justify his contract.

Heard Mad Dog interviewing Girardi, Girardi said Pettite's injury was news to him.

ok this is weird...
Andy Pettitte contradicted a Daily News report by telling the New York Post that he'll be fine to make his next start.
A source told the Daily News that Pettitte has arm stiffness. "I am fine. [Missing a start] is news to me," he said. "I feel great. No one has ever discussed missing a start with me. I am pitching. I have not discussed missing a start with anybody."

"Girardi said Pettite's injury was news to him". If the report is true, and if Girardi was being truthful, then Feinsand got this news before the manager. That would be more than a little annoying to me if I were Girardi.
As for the injury, I'm feeling very zen right now. As in, "Pettitte's injured? Of course he's injured. Why should he be an different? Ohmmmmmmmmm. Ohmmmmmmmmm."

Ahh, didn't see Sam's comment before posting mine. It is entirely plausible that Pettitte is feeling stiffness but is going to keep pitching. And that Feinsand got half the story. Or that Monahan advised against starting and Pettitte said, "This is my last year anyway, the only reason I am here is to try to play in October one more time, the only person who would be available to take my place is currently pitching single-A ball, so screw it, I'm playing until me arm falls off." And Feinsand only talked to the tape-boy in the training room, who only heard the first part of the conversation.

Yeah, I notice Pettitte doesn't at all deny the stiffness.
I thought AG meant "What The Flying F***?"
