Swiss Family Robinson: PaleSox-Yanks Gamer V
Recently looking as lost as the famed family but not nearly as resourceful or interesting, Robi Cano is back in the lineup after his brief exile to the pine. We'll see if he has any more giddy in his up and go as Andy Pettitte pitches for the Bombers, needing a win in a rilly bad way before he forgets what it feels like. Gavin Floyd goes for the PaleSox.

Jason Giambi owes ARod a new pair of cleats after that at-bat. And then to go down swinging chasing junk... oof.

Andy rolling now. But after squandering that last chance to get close/tie/lead, I hope it's not too late.

Wow, it's fun watching Gardner run. He was to second base before I could move my thumb to hit the replay button. That GRD was easily three bases.

Damon lines it right at Ramirez; Gardner back to second. Jeter is 2-2 on his (latest) historic day so far.

Jeter down 0-2: Floyd comes high and tight as Gardner takes third easily. Another miss. The 2-2 is lined glove side of Ramirez who makes a nifty snag. Ozzie talks to Floyd, but no switch for a lefty.

Abreu takes a strike at the knees, then low in. The 1-1 is a breaking pitch and Bobby is fooled. Now Abreu pops out to left center, stranding Gardner. Time is fleeting.

A.J. Pierzynski is doing an amazing (literally amazing) job of ticking pitches foul after falling behind 0-2.

Incredible bat control by AJ in this at bat by Giese, who doubles a 2-2 to the left-center wall. GREAT at bat handling multiple breaking pitches. That was amazing.
