Thanks, Ivan! We're all looking forward to the player analysis, and to your contributions through what we very much hope will be a LONG PLAYOFF RUN.

The Angels can totally keep the intangibles. I'll take the run differential.

Thanks, Ivan.

Here's to repeating what always happen when you show up!

LAA fans love that 8-1 thing. I hope it keeps them all warm over the cold October nights on the couch. :)

Absolutely, Paul.

Also, here's to hoping the old Lackey and Saunders show up.

welcome back again ivan. you'll be happy to know the october angel fans are coming out of the woodworks per usual here in so cal. dust off the plush rally monkey dolls. with the added dynamic of the dodgers postseason hopes, all of LA an OC is a'buzz with world series prognostications. so here's my thoughts on our series....

who know's if teixera/suanders is cut out for the pressures of the postseason? (bay is in the same boat)

will it be more of the career postseason .250 hitting vlad guerrero? he's had a total of 1 career october HR.

it's hard to argue with 62 saves, but it is always an adventure with k-rod in the 9th. will the near disasters k-rods been flirting with all season catch up with him in october?

my pick.... sox in 3.

ps. i know i asked last year, but could you please get rev halofan over at halosheaven.com to un-ban my ip address. i swear i won't bring up shea hillenbrand again.

if you guy's wanna see some real sox hate, check out that site. they've been going back and forth with the guys from over the moster.

I think it's telling that the sox are going with three catchers on the roster vs. an additional pitcher. Maybe if Lowell can't play the field, they'll utilize him in a pinch hit spot.

dw- i'm guessing aardsma was the last man out. i can live with that. it's also nice to see that lugo isn't ready go. hopefully that trend will continue.

The Sox have been using Kottaras and Cash at 3B for the last few games, so you're probably right DW. I think I'd rather see Youk at 3rd and Casey/Bailey at 1B.

I'm watching the game at a dive bar in Hudson, NY -- and enjoying both the 2-1 lead and listening to a vociferous argument between Mets and Yankees fans...

Wow, weird triple ... Gotta capitalize on that, though it's two outs...

DPed BB, here comes Papi to face Darren Oliver. Good, Ortiz wasn't solving Lackey.

Papi down 0-2..........

1-2..........

2-2............

3-2.........!

K. Bleh.
