World Series Game four in Philly today, and a big season finale on AMC. Not sure the Maddon men will win the ratings war. We're watching both. Comment away.

Phils out to an early 2-0 lead (bottom of the 3rd). With the bases loaded and 2 out, pitcher Joe Blanton can't increase the cushion for himself, popping out to 1st.

Moon shot from Howard. Not lookin' good for these lite-hitin' Rays.

Hinske answers. 5-2. A ballgame.

Bomb's Away from Blanton. 6-2, Bot 5.

It's the bottom of the 6th, Philly leads, 6-2, and leads the series, 2-1. Yet to listen to the crowd, you'd think Philly was on the verge of getting swept.
The place is freakin' dead.

This game may be dull, but there is one positive thing. A base has been stolen in the game.
That means everybody in America gets a FREE crunchy seasoned taco from Taco Bell on Tuesday, October 28 from 2 to 6PM!

The big news: Don and Betts back together.

Werth homers, 8-2, bot 8.
I hope the Phillies people understand that it was the Red Sox that wore out the Rays, leaving them with nothing in their back pockets for the Series. i.e., Pena, Longoria still HITLESS in the series.
Boy, this entitlement stuff makes me a mean emmereffer.

How did we not beat this team, again? Actually, don't answer that. *Sigh.*

A: Who the crud goes to Tqaco Bell between 2 and 6?
B: Who the crud is Don and Betts?
C: Sorry to go all Tanner Boyle on you.

Ryan Howard goes DING DONG again and it's 10-2.
Why didn't WE get to face Trever Miller in the ALCS? WHY? WHY???

Does Taco Bell have vegetarian tacos? Actually, don't answer that either. *Double sigh.*

Hud, I think they do. Ask for one with beans instead of meat.

Philly wins, 10-2.
One win from the hot stove season opener.

Boyo. A real beatdown. Wouldn't put it past the Rays to make a series of it though. But that's a serious hole.

well, one team can only step outside itself with the bat for so long. A team can't continue to hit 20HR's a series to beat up on pitching. Sooner or later, the regular season Upton and Co. will show up, and lucky for the Phils, it's this week!

Who goes to Taco Bell at all when you can instead go to Anna's, Felipe's, Boca Grande, and half a dozen other local alternatives? (I'm sure Yanks fans have even more choices.)

IF the Rays win tonight, they have a good chance (pitching matchups favor them after Game 5, IMO--Myers vs. Shields, Moyer vs. Garza--and they go home). I hope Hamels goes 5-0. Suck it, Rays. Nothing made me happier than watching Utley and Howard (?) go deep off Garza back to back in Game 3.
