I can't believe two closers made it on the list and people actually left Halladay OFF the ballot. weird

Heyman and Rosenthal are reporting that the Yanks have gotten Swisher from the ChiSox for a minor leaguer

No votes at all for Lester? I thought he would pretty easily take third place and wasn't sure Matsuzaka would even make the list. Goes to show the national writers don't obsess over the frustrating aspects of Dice-K's performance like we do. They just see the wins and ERA and vote.
Here's hoping the stupid voters all got pigeonholed into the Cy Young voting so they don't muddy up the MVP race...

Good point, DW. I would *love* to hear that reasoning.

Hey Guys, thanks for the support for our Ace. Doc has been the man year in and year out and I more confidence when I see him take the mound than any other pitcher we've ever had. Wish y'all the best in the off-season.

Yeah JF, I'm a huge fan of Halladay. Nothing too flashy, but extremely precise and extremely efficient. I usually favour strikeout pitchers, but I love watching Halladay pitch. Hope he continues to stay healthy.

likewise Atheose, like to watch him pitch - against the Yankees (not so much against the sox :))
hey, no mention of Pedroia's Silver Slugger? (which, I don't think he should have won BTW - I think Kinsler should have won SS, but Pedroia is the better overall secondbaseman IMO)
