Happy day all around - on the waterfront on a beautiful day, Yanks win an exciting one, and pull within one of the division lead. Their bullpen is so improved over early in the season, their starting pitching is not always great but is improving steadily and is at least keeping them in every game or handing off leads, and there is really no one in the lineup who makes me roll my eyes when they come up in big spots (though Cano's 3-0 bunt just now was truly head-scratch-inducing). They've got some rough travel ahead (all of their west coast trips lie ahead as compared to Boston, who I believe has completed all their coastal swings), but the team is playing well. Hope Joba can give at least 6 good ones tomorrow and keep this going. Happy 4th to all...
