I hope there are no parades for you to miss. Honestly.
Have a great, safe trip, Nick, and a rich time in Jakarta.

Just stay away from islands that go BOOM in the Sunda Strait.

Have a great time Nick. Vacations on Bali and Phuket. Awesome. Can I ask what you'll be doing? It's much more interesting than discussing the excuse for a game the Yanks put on today.

Thanks all. IH, I'm moving for love. My better half, Mandy, just go a job with the Clinton Foundation to work on a climate change initiative in Jakarta. I'll likely teach English but unfortunately I'm too late to get a job in a classroom as the school year has already started. I'll miss having a classroom.

Sounds great Nick. I've been a couple times but never for more than a few days. Loved the people I met there. Good luck finding the teaching job you want and getting used to 7am baseball (!).

NIck- My girlfriend is interning right now at the Clinton Foundation herself and has worked extensively with CCI over the years while working with the mayor. Great foundation doing great work. Enjoy yourself, Nick. Good luck and check in from time to time. I often wish I was single again and able to follow such persuits. Not that I don't love my wife and children. But you know what Dylan sings, "I was so much older then I'm younger than that, now."
...
On Woody ...
Manhattan is one of my very favorite movies. And I know that if I lived in NYC (instead of the suburbs of Chicago), that I would love it, and that it would be my town. Not sure I could love the Yankees, though.
Good luck. I'll be living vicariously through you.

Or better yet, e-mail YFSF when you find out how to say, "And A-Rod grounds out weakly to shortstop with the bases loaded, ending the game!" ;-)
