My dog left the back yard today and went to the dog park. The Red Sox left their hotel today and went to the ballpark. Both are in trouble, with the Sox down 4-0 and my escape artist canine getting the stink-eye glare from me. Comment away.

John Lackey pitches for Sox, Matt Harrison for the former Senators.  Oregon/LSU had 12 scoring drives between their teams last night in Arlington.  I'd take the over on 12 runs at Fenway today, if I were a betting man.

Six-Five, Two-Thirtyish, Right-Handed Pitcher: Yanks-Sox Gamer

That's most of what the trio of Josh, Phil and AJ have in common.  Beckett is having one of the best seasons of his career.  Hughes is... well, he's.. um... let's just say he's glad Burnett makes so much money that he takes the brunt of the wrath directed towards the Yankees starters.  Outside of a clunker in Seattle, Beckett has been great lately and has turned in a few performances that have been positively stellar this season.  As for Hughes, the Yankees went on to hit three grand slams in his last start but not before Oakland hung six runs vs. eight outs.  Let's see what it all means.
